When we use le or la and the word starts with a vowel or an h, le and la become l’
Examples:
l’homme the man l’oiseau l’orange l’eau l’arbre l’accident |
un homme (m) a man un oiseau (m) une orange (f) une eau (f) un arbre (m) un accident (m) |
